Smiles For Kids was a big hit. The children learned all about dental health and even had fun getting checkups right in the centre!

On Nov. 1, 2017, each of the Our House children will be getting a free dental checkup. In preparation we are teaching the children good lessons about oral health. Help your child get into good dental hygiene habits while having fun    

Jump for Joy is back third term all the children are very excited for its return.

Over the summer break the Approved Provider worked hard on the upkeep of Our House. As you can see, this includes a new coat of paint (still in progress in the toddler room) as well as the repainting of the outside deck, porch, and wooden fencing. We have also been working to keep the entire yard clean and well-presented so that all staff and parents can be proud of it. The ongoing of maintenance means that your child will attend a safe and healthy environment for them to learn, play. and grow. This will give you peace of mind for their safety.

I hope all our families enjoyed our Christmas party. We were really lucky to have such a great day with the sun shining, plenty of food and it was a good time to chat and interact with Families. The children loved our visit from Santa who gave the children fairy floss and lollies… We were able to get some great shots with Santa, which we are putting up in the hall for all families to see.

All school transition statements have been sent to your child’s school for the prep teachers to read and be able to get to know your child.

The photography company called late last week and has advised that the photos have gone to the printer. Hopefully all photos will be back In the next couple of weeks.

Our annual Our House Xmas party will be held on the Sunday 4th of December 2016 at the centre. Please could you let us know if you are attending? This will help with food quantities on the day.

Our House will be closing at 3pm on the 23rd of December 2016 and will not re-open until Tuesday 3rd of January 2017 for the Christmas break.

As Christmas is only 7 weeks away this means families will be taking holidays. If you wish to apply for the holiday discount please return your re-enrolment and holiday form so this can be applied to your account. We also need to know who will be here over January as staff will be taking holidays and there will be a smaller roster over this period. Please let us know by end 11/7/16.

Our House will be open on Sunday November 27th for approximately from 10:30 am – 12:30am. Please come down and enjoy a sausage in bread, fairy floss, and have your kids enjoy the jumping castle. Let your friends know they can take a tour of the centre.

Hello and welcome to all of Our House families. As we reach the end of the year, we would like to say how great it has been to watch the children’s self esteem and confidence grow. We love getting to know all of them. The children have developed strongly because of our amazing team. We are all dedicated to providing beautiful learning opportunities for the children and being their advocate for their play.
