JANUARY
Tuesday 3rd– Centre Re-opens
Monday 16th– Transition begins into new rooms
Thursday 26th– Australia Day Public Holiday- Centre Closed
Friday 27th– Australia Day Centre Celebrations-
Come dressed in your “Aussie” clothes today for our Australia Day celebrations
Saturday 28th – Chinese New Year

FEBRUARY
Monday 6th – Term 1 Commences
Saturday 14th– Valentine’s Day- 
During the week children will be involved in making gifts for their loved ones
Tuesday 28th– Shrove Tuesday- 
Children will be making pancakes today
MARCH
Monday 6th– Clean up Australia Day-
This week children will learn about keeping taking care of the environment and making sure they ensure that
Monday 13th– Labour Day Public Holiday- Centre Closed
Monday 13th- 17th – World’s Greatest Shave- Wear your craziest hair day today throughout the week. Gold coin donation for the world’s greatest shave
Tuesday 17th– St Patricks Day- 
Wear something GREEN today.
Sunday 19th – Earth Hour
From 8.30pm-9.30 pm turn your lights off a home to celebrate Earth Hour
Tuesday 21st – Harmony Day
Wear something ORANGE today. Bring an item to share from your cultural background.
Friday 31st– Term 1 ends

APRIL
Sunday 2nd– Daylight Savings ends (clocks go back 1 hour)
Sunday 2nd – All household smoke alarms should be checked.
Tuesday 7th– World Health Day- Children will be involved in a variety of activities today about Health
Monday 18th– Term 2 starts
Monday 10th- 13th – Centre Easter Celebrations- 
Friday 14th- Good Friday- Centre Closed Today
Sunday 16th– Easter- Happy Easter to all 
Monday 17th- Easter Monday- Centre closed today
T.B.C- Living Eggs- Egg hatching program T.B.C- Easter Fundraiser- Raising money for the R.C.H Good Friday Appeal.
Tuesday 25th– Anzac Day – Centre Closed

MAY
Wednesday 3rd– Super hero day- Dress up in your favourite super hero costume
Friday 5th– Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea-
All mothers and grandmother are invited to an afternoon tea at 3pm. 
Sunday 7th- Mother’s Day
Sunday 21st – World day
Come dress in clothes from another country
22nd- 26th– Education Week-
A variety of activities this week to celebrate Education Week.

JUNE
Thursday 1st – International Children’s Day
Friday 5th– World Environment Day- 
The children will be involved in a variety of activities 
Monday
Monday 12th– Queens Birthday Public Holiday- 
Centre closed today
Friday 30th– Red nose day- Wear something RED today
